Thumbnail direction is wrong

    I uploaded photo’s and the thumbnail of portret images are automatically turned into landscape, which gives a wrong result. How can i keep the original direction of the images when creating the thumbnails on uploading?

    On the Photo Albums -> Albums -> Edit the album, you can edit the photo details.
    Open the Photo Details section, click the Edit tab.
    Here you can manipulate the photo. Rotate it and when the thumbnail is correct, lock it on the Files tab.
    Now roate the photo back to the right position.

    This problem arises when the internal data (EXIF) contains incorect orientation data. This can happen when the photo has been manipulated on the pc before uploading whaile the exif data is not corrected corresponding the real rotation value.

    If you upload the photo unmanipulated from the original device, wppa will adjust the rotation automatically correctly
