If you are using the free plugin, you could use rule 3 – if you want to have access only from one country. Then, select only the country you want to allow, no need to block the rest of the countries. Keep the firewall as performat as possible by combining the rules like this. If you are located in Germany, you will see right away in the top notice if the access is allowed.

Regarding how you could test, the free version does not include a tool like that out-of-the-box, but you can test by accessing the site login through a VPN.
