Hi, it behaves the same as with the free version. The only difference is you can filter on categories when insert an attachment into a post / page / or custom post type.
Thanks Jeffrey
I appreciate it gives that filter, i’m just trying to figure out what happens on the search results based on the respective ‘yes’ or ‘no’ choice. The reason I ask is I use Yoast and they have a feature to redirect attachment urls to the attachment itself. Most of my images are not optimised and a lot are completely irrelvant or test drafts so results could come up looking bad but also it avoid thin content. I have that setting to yes and have been trying to work with them regards the best way to set your taxonomy search appearance feature and they are not sure and advised me to get your thoughts on the question I sent you below. So my question isnt about the feature; I guess you could say its about the ‘benefit’ or output created in the search engines by a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ choice.
Thanks
Media attached to categories won’t show up in the search or category page on the frontend of the website. If it does, then you are using a plugin a theme that forces this behaviour. Hope this will give you a better answer.
Hmmm, not sure if this could be something else or not. Is there a way I can upload a screenshot for you to check ?
Hi, sorry for the late reply (I was on holiday). You can upload an image to for example imgur and link it here. Or send an email with attachment to support@jeffrey-wp.com
