• Does this plugin support synonyms? I can’t find any indication inn the documentation that it does.

I’m currently testing several glossary plugins to determine which one to pick. Support for synonyms is among the features I’m looking for.

I will be adding names to my glossary, like for instance ‘Joe Brown’. I want this term to be listed under ‘B’ in the glossary. To achieve that, I would register it using the term name ‘Brown, Joe’.

But at the same time I want this glossary entry to link to any instance of ‘Joe Brown’. To accomplish that I would need to be able to assign a synonym to my ‘Brown, Joe’ term.

    Hello

Did you get a solution to this. I have the same problem.

Yes, I did. I discovered that I could use a tag. It works like a synonym.

After I registered the term ‘Brown, Joe’, I added a tag ‘Joe Brown’.

The result is that the name is listed under B in the glossary, and at the same time all instances of both ‘Joe Brown’ and ‘Brown, Joe’ are linked to the term ‘Brown, Joe’.
