Hi, hmm i am not sure where you would like to display it: when adding an Ad (in [adverts_add]), in the search form ([adverts_list]) or somewhere else?
Hello,
I’ve created an adverts list page with the following shortcodes.
[adverts_categories show=”top” columns=”4″]
[adverts_list]
This outputs a category list above the adverts list similar to this:
PC [10] MAC [15]
AD1 AD2 AD3 AD4
AD5 AD6 AD7 AD8
AD9 AD10 AD11 AD12
…
AD25
When a user clicks on PC, the ads will be filtered per the PC category and they show up in the page.
In this destination page I want to be able to show the advert_categories of this level
For example
I wanted to see
LAPTOP [4] DESKTOP [6]
AD1 AD2 AD3 AD4
AD5 AD6 AD7 AD8
AD9 AD10
And consequently if I click on LAPTOP [4]
Since it doesn’t have subcategories I should see just the ads
AD1 AD2 AD3 AD4

Ohh ok, the [adverts_categories] shortcode does not have such option i am afraid, but please see my reply here (and the next one) https://wordpress.org/support/topic/sub-categories-not-showed-on-after-clic-on-top-category/#post-10002063 it explains how to have a list of current level categories above [adverts_list].
Thank you very much for your help. I will try it after the weekend and I will let you know how it works.
Best regards
Just to let you know that it worked very well. Thank you very much for your help.
Ok great :), i am closing this thread then.
BTW. If you are finding the plugin useful i would be thankful if you could write a short one or two sentence review here https://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/wpadverts
