Strange load issue with posts widget

Hi! We are having a strange issue with the posts widget. If you look at the following screencast, when you load the page, the image section of the post cards load in a strange way. The try to load with a huge height, and then shrink back down to the correct size. The size of the images correlates to the size of the image area in the post card so it’s not an image size issue. Any ideas or have seen this before?

It’s almost like the posts widget takes a second to realize the size of the image container.
