Stop Regular WordPress Registrations

    I am using PMPro. Recently, I have been getting users (hackers?) who are bypassing membership pro and registering via the default wordpress registration. I am assuming they are using the WordPress direct URL to access the registration page as it only is logging their email address with no other user registration information that is requested in PMPro.

    Can you tell me how to completely disable default registration so everything automatically goes through PMPro? Can I just disable registration in settings or would that also block PMPro from registering new users?

    Hi @osisis

    Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

    You may disable the “Anyone can register” option inside the General WordPress settings area and user’s should still be able to register through Paid Memberships Pro checkout.
