Status & visibility document settings missing

When I save a revision of a published block editor page (as either Pending or Scheduled), the contents of the Status & visibility tab under Document settings disappear. I can expand or collapse that tab, but either it is completely blank, or it contains nothing but a green Approve Revision link and a red Move to Trash link — the Visibility, Publish and Author controls are missing. This is also blocking my ability to Enable public preview via the Public Post Preview plugin, which I use when a page revision needs to be approved by someone without WordPress access. Can this be fixed? (Or is it possibly already fixed in the Pro version?)
