In my database I have two tables (wp_advads_clicks and wp_advads_impressions) populated with click and impressions statistics.

I didn’t have enabled any option and I’m worried about any slow down.

Is it possible to disable this function?

    Regards

  • Hi pukos,

    Thanks for reaching out.

These tables are created by the Advanced Ads Tracking add-on. You can adjust if and how impressions or clicks should be tracked in the general tracking settings tab.

Since Advanced Ads uses an optimized AJAX call for tracking and not admin-ajax.php, the performance impact is not noticeable. Alternatively, you can connect the tracking with Google Analytics.

Your question is referring to a premium add-on and the forums on wordpress.org are only for the plugins that are also hosted here. If you need help with any premium extensions of Advanced Ads, I want kindly ask you to reach out to our support.

Thanks for understanding, and we hopefully meet there.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hi pukos,

The tables are created with the installation of the Tracking add-on, and you need to opt-in if you want them removed during uninstalling.
If you do not need these statistics, it’s safe to remove these tables and without the Tracking add-on they will not be created again.

I realized I had a All Access license until 2020. Probably the tracking remained active when license expired. So it’s safe to just delete the table?

Is there any discount on renew? 😅

    Hi pukos,

If you do not need these statistics, it’s safe to remove these tables and without the Tracking add-on they will not be created again.

Please address your further pre-sale question directly to the customer support.

    Best regards,
    Henning
