sorry for the inconvenience, can you please open the Comment fields meta from the Comments -> Comment Fields menu and try to save it once. It will fix the issue.
Even saving the options.
The comment form stopped working, clicking send does not send.
My template doesn’t use jquery in the comments or something, is it missing something for it to work?

The plugin works normally the panel.
But the form has problems, it doesn’t send and also the error message keeps appearing.
I’ve removed and reinstalled and the error persists.

I added the field as in mine and in the example the error also occurs.
The form does not comment anymore.
