Hi, I recently added new Custom Post type (CPT) in my website and want to add it in my sitemap.

So I follow this guide: https://developer.jetpack.com/2016/01/28/sitemaps-add-custom-post-type-support/

I successfully added my CPT in sitemap but only on localhost using debug mode. In production, it doesn’t get refreshed even after a day.

Is there a way to force refresh the sitemap? Turning it on and off doesn’t seem to work. Also I turned off the cache plugin too.

Sitemaps are stored in transients, so flushing your site’s cache won’t help. Publishing a new post should help clearing the transient by creating a new version of the sitemap. Another alternative would be to install this plugin, and delete all Sitemap transients under Tools > Transients.

You can search for Jetpack sitemap transients by looking for jetpack_sitemap_ on that screen.
