Single Game View + current players

    Single Game View: It shows trailers/screenshots but nothing else except there is a zoom effect when hover. I can’t open any screenshot (for full screen/view ) or trailers (to play, it only change the stop/play icon when click) when click on them. Is that intended?

    Current players (both shortcodes) may have issues with different appID’s. For example I used (and I tried some more, not sure if only 730 really works here) the appID for X4: Foundations (392160).

    steammanager_current_players shows then current steam users online (25,767,737currently) and not from the specific game.

    steammanager_enhanced_game shows nothing but “<code>392160</code>” with “game information not available” text and as current players steam users online (25,767,737currently) and not from the specific game.

    The ID 730 for CS works pretty well here. Not sure what the issue is.

    But overall cool idea.

    This actually worked fine for me? I tested it out with appid=392160

    [MK] For now this is intended to optimize loading speed, small pictures are loaded. If you confirm that it would be great to have large imiges and playable videos I can try to add it.

    [MK] Are you suing shorcodedes in such format like below?

    [steammanager_current_players appid=392160]

    [steammanager_enhanced_game id=392160]

    That should work.

    One more thing to check to be sure plugin is configured properly. In Manager for Steam > Settings > Add propper “Steam API Key” and “Steam User ID” to make sure plugin will fetch data from Steam.

    Next use Customizer” for more advanced shortcodes.

    Thanks for your responses. It clicked now for me. My fault. Under Advanced Shortcodes it says [steammanager_enhanced_game id="730"]. I then used “392160” but it needs to be just 392160 without quotes while using customize the id is in quotes. Thats why I was confused and used quotes as well.

    If possible as an option to load/open images and videos it would be cool (like on SteamDB, gg.deals, isthereanydeal or many others using SteamAPI).

    To be honest both formats in shortcodes should display game info:

    [steammanager_enhanced_game id=392160]

    [steammanager_enhanced_game id=”392160″]

    I’ll try to implement images/videos preview in next release 🙂

    Do you have any other improvements ideas?

    I’ve added lightbox for media. Now for Single Game View when you add screenshots or videos for game preview you can click on them to open them in bigger view 🙂

    It works on embeded shortcodes.

    Screenshots were perfect yesterday as I tested it after the update. They opened in full view. Also when hover with mouse there was an icon (magnifying glass icon?). But today screenshots wont open (only zoom when hover) and the hover icon (also under customizer) is gone, so it’s like before the update what is weird to me. Have not made anything since yesterday. Cleared all steam cache, but nothing has changed.

    Besides, videos didnt play directly. It took several seconds (10-30 sec). Maybe it has something to do with the cache here.

    Can you show me your webiste where you have embeded shortcode?

    On my test website everything looks fine.

    Maybe there is a confilict with some other plugins? Did you install anything after configuring Manager for Steam?

    What cache plugin do you have? Did you clear cache in that plugin? .. I think it should not be the root cause of the issue.

    All plugins deactivated. WP standard theme activated. No cache plugin (wp and browser cache cleared). Still the same.

    Reinstalled Steam Manager, now works again.

    Great that it works for you again. Please let me know when you will have similar issue next time. I’m not able to replicate it on my side so it would be great to get more info from you.
