Significant performance issues

We’ve encountered 2 very serious issues with the plugin. Our subscriber (registered wordpress users) list has grown and it’s at 62K as of now. With the increase in the subscribed users to our site, the author box plugin is creating significant performance delays. We 1st encountered it when trying to create a new post. When you create a new post, the post editor takes a very long time to respond. We isolated the issue to the guest author function executing a long running, resource-intense query. The other area we’ve encountered the issue is when we try to load the Elementor editor for a new or existing post. The same issue occurs, the editor can take up to 20 min to load. We know for sure it’s the Simple Author Box creating the problem as when we deactivate it, the problem goes away. Please provide support on this as soon as possible as it’s causing significant disruption in our ability to run our site. We are paying subscribers of Simple Author Box Pro.
