    Hi,

Is it possible to show an ad only if it’s in multiple groups?

    Example:
I have hotels saved as ads. Now I like to show a list of hotels in New York with a “swimming pool” and “room service”.

So I like to show if they are in the group: New York, swimming pool AND room service.

  • Hi pascal2187,

It looks like you are using groups differently than most users.
Your scenario sounds like you are using groups to categorize the different hotels for you in terms of content. You seem to use them to store meta information rather than inserting entire groups and using them to rotate various ads to a specific location.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to query an ad’s group assignments before delivery. I don’t know your site, so I can’t estimate if it’s possible to target the ads based on, e.g., the page tags where the ads should appear. For example, a configuration of the display conditions could look like this:

Tag is “New York” AND Tag is “pool” AND Tag is “room service”.

Is this a solution that would work for you? Can you share a link to your site so I can get a better idea?

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi @pascal2187,

Did you have the chance to think about my suggestion about using tags? If this does not work for you, can you share a link to your website?

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi Joachim,

I did not notice there was already a response to my question.

I will try the tag option and will let you know if it works.

    Thanks for thinking along!

    You are welcome, pascal2187.

I appreciate your feedback if my suggested solution can help.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
