in a php snippet you can do the following
add_shortcode('my-fluent-shortcode', function (){
return "<script>console.log('hello fluent shortcode')</script>";
});
thanks Adam for the fast reply. The problem is I would have to add a new php snippet every time I add CSS, JS, HTML, and that will make my php snippets list very long winded over time. You guys cant just add this feature? That way it appears on the side [shortcode_1] of each type of code we create and all we have to do is click on it to copy it.
This will keep things more streamlined. I hope you guys can please consider this. It shouldnt take long to implement since we already know how to code it right?
Something as simple as this:

Please it will go a long way! πππ€²
can someone please reply and implement this easy feature request? we have chatgpt to make coding 10x easier. Why cant we bake this into the core of fluentsnippets? I dont understand!
Hello @rebornhairppp,
Thank you for sharing the detailed information. @adrock42 is correct, within FluentSnippets, you can create any shortcode you want using PHP snippets. However, in your case, could you please explain in more detail the shortcode feature youβre referring to? The screenshot you provided isnβt visible to us.
Please share a short demonstration video showing the feature, so I can forward it to our development team for further investigation and possible future implementation.
Please let me know the update.
Best regards!
Ruman Ahmed.
THANK YOU FOR GETTING BACK! It means a ton!
Please watch this video. You can increase playback speed by 1.5x to speed up duration https://sendspark.com/share/mc5opn3l9x2k2h107tus5mr4e04nueev
The three areas of improvement discussed in the video are
- Shortcode and copy button
- Group them by parent folder/category <–especially important if you have multiple similar shortcodes that be grouped by category (e.g. Styling Folder will have all CSS styling shortcodes. Fluentforms Folder will have all the shortcodes for fluentforms plugin)
- Improve the UI search bar and add it to the top
- Consider a lifetime deal to support further development for this plugin
Hello @rebornhairppp,
Thank you for your cooperation regarding this matter. Regarding the snippets group feature, it is already available in FluentSnippets. To group your snippets, simply create a group and select it while creating a new snippet, as shown in the screenshot: [https://prnt.sc/Ag4CZ79qx2UI]. Hopefully, this might help you in this matter.
For the others suggestion, I will take this as feature request and forward it to our R&D team for further investigation. Hopefully, they will conduct a thorough review and pass it on to our development team for future implementation.
Best regards!
Ruman Ahmed.
Thank you very much. How can we edit the name of the Group and also delete it? For example, I created a test group now I want to rename it or remove it. There is no option for that
Also, how can we apply the group to the table format

Is anyone going to respond to my last comment? Also this plugin has not been updated for more than 8 months now. Can you please keep it up to date? I have your plugin installed on over 20 websites.
