Shortcode causes loop to break on recent posts

    Hello, I’m having trouble with recent posts on my home page. When using the Woocommerce Product Slider shortcode in a post and then calling that post as a recent post on the home page, it breaks the loop and won’t show any more posts. I can’t find any info in the console or in the PHP log so I’m not sure how to fix it. I’ve unpublished that post for now.

    The recent posts are generated with the Post Grid element in Visual Composer, a popular visual builder for WordPress. Removing the WCPS shortcode from the post remedies the issue, but I would like to keep it in. Any ideas?
