Hi @stumur ,
Thank you for your great question and for your interest in our plugin!
Currently, the plugin doesn’t have a built-in feature to directly email a favorites list. However, I can offer a couple of potential workarounds for you.
Option 1: The Print/PDF Method (Recommended & Easiest)
The most straightforward solution is to have users save their favorites page as a PDF and email it to you. You could place a “Print this list” button on the page. With a little bit of custom CSS (@media print), you can optimize the page for printing, so only the list of bands is visible in the final PDF. This is a simple and effective approach.
Option 2: Integration with a Contact Form (Advanced)
For a more seamless user experience, it’s technically possible to integrate the favorites list with a contact form plugin (like Contact Form 7 or WPForms). A user could click a button, and their list of favorite bands would automatically be added to the contact form’s message body.
However, this is an advanced customization that requires some JavaScript code. The script would need to:
- Read the favorites data from the browser’s storage.
- Find the specific contact form field on your page.
- Insert the list of bands into that field.
Please be aware this is an advanced customization that would require you or a developer to write the necessary JavaScript. Therefore, unless you are comfortable with custom coding, I would recommend sticking with Option 1 for its simplicity.
Thanks!

Takashi – what a wonderful reply – thank you so much! You are correct – I regret I’m not a coder, so I will need somebody to code option 2 for me – I’d rather that than option 1.. I know this platform is for free plugins only and paid-for conversations need to happen elsewhere, but if you are available to code this for me, could you please let me know if we can chat somewhere about it?
Thank you,
Kindly, Stuart.
