I am trying to set individual stock levels for a variable product.
I have switched OFF the setting “activate stock at product level”…
I have switched ON the option “control stock” at product variation level.

    My problem:
Whanever I change the stock level for One product variation, eg T-shirt Small, ALL th eproduct vaiations get the same stocklevel!!
It looks like the stocklevel at product variations does not work and the setting At product level is still active…

    How th resolve??
    What else can I check??
    ton

    Hi @tonk,

This is not what we would expect when the stock quantity is managed at the variation level. This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Go to the variation and change the stock quantity

If you notice that the stock changes only for that specific variation but not for all others after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.

Reactivate the theme first and check again. Then, go on and reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

    Thanks.
