Set Author Page as Default Profile

    Hello Alessandro and support team, I have build a custom author page…and I would like to use this page as my only profile page, in other words, I don’t need the profile page from WP User Manager.
    I have deselected the page that WP User manager made by default …also I have delete the page.
    But if a go to Dasboard in site/wp-admin/users.php I can see there is two Views Options, one of them take me to the WP User profile page (that in fact does not exist) , so it gets a broken link.
    The other one takes me to the author profile page (http:// my-site/author/username/ ( The one I want)

    Do you think this will cause conflicts in the future?
    Is it possible with some function to redirect the WP User Manager Profile to the author page?
    Is it possible with some function to set the author page as the unique profile page?

    By the Way … I have tester other plugins like Ultimate Member…and others, I can say yours is the best option.

    Hi @klish

    1) The “View Profile” link into the admin users list table should have disappeared once you removed the page from the WPUM settings. Are you sure you deselected the page from “Users -> settings -> Profile page” ? I’ve just retested this on my end and the link is correctly hidden once the page is deselected from the settings.

    2) At the moment there isn’t a filter to change the url that is printed out by the functionality that displays links to the WPUM profile page. I might add this into a future update if needed.

    3) You can’t set the author page as the profile page.
