    Hi,

I’ve recently started to look at Amelia and one thing I noticed which is very limiting is the fact that the service duration is defined using a select list with a finite number of possible values (this list of possible duration times is again different in the current Beta too, with the shortest being 1h!) which is very limiting when, for example, one client I maintain their website for and are looking for online booking have a 50 minute session with a 10 minute buffer. Yes, they could set the duration to 1h an 0 buffer, but as the price is based on a 50 minute session this would be misleading to potential clients as, let’s face it, people don’t read the fine detail if a note is added saying that the session is actually only 50 minutes.

Can this input be changed to allow any possible duration to be added, e.g. Latepoint you add the duration in minutes which means you can add any length of duration for a service which is much more flexible.

Can you pleas consider making this change?

    Thanks

    Hello,

I hope you’re doing well. The duration “increments” depend on the timeslot step duration, which you can configure in General Settings. By default, this is set to 30 minutes, so according to this setup, you can select increments of 30 minutes when configuring service duration (or other durations).

Feel free to adjust the default timeslot step accordingly, and you will then be able to set a 50-minute service duration.

    Kind regards,
    Stefan.
