Schema Data Error

Hey,
I am getting the following error while checking the yoast scheme data:
URL: A value for the URL field is required.URL of the schema data testing tool: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool#url=https%3A%2F%2Fcliffyb.com%2Fauthor%2Fluqman%2F

I have also asked my theme developer and they said its from Yoast.
Can you please help me with this error?

Hi @webtify and @tentangsinopsis
We apologize for any issues you’ve encountered with the plugin. Could you confirm you’re using the latest version of v14.1 oF Yoast SEO for WordPress? Also, could you confirm that this particular error only occurs for this particular author archive, or does it occur elsewhere? Have you also modified the schema.org structured data output in any way?
Hey,
I am using the latest Version 14.1
I am facing this issue on almost every page and I have not modified the schema.org structured data output in any way.

We can see Yoast is outputting the right data for the logo. See image: https://pasteboard.co/J9BOfCf.png
The issue is likely that the logo URL is in an svg format:https://cdn-5e320f64f911c80ca0df5eef.closte.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/logo.svg.
Google requires it to be in a specific format described here https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/logo.
We suggest making the logo in one of those formats, clearing your cache, and seeing if the issue resolves.
Hey,
I have uploaded the SVG logo only after getting the error so the problem is not with the SVG file format. But now, I have removed the SVG logo and reverted back to the PNG file format. You can still see the error with the PNG logo format.
I really don’t know what’s causing the error?
The ‘Organization/Person’ is an odd thing to see in the markup. The last time I saw that, it was due to the Yoast settings have both pieces of information; instead of only one piece. Let’s check that option.
Please go to Admin > SEO > Tools > Import and Export > Export settings (tab) and click on the export button. This will generate a text field with all of your settings.
Please review the settings list for the following options:
*company_or_person
*company_or_person_user_idAre you setup for a company or a person?
Is there a user ID defined or is that field empty?@amboutwe @pcosta88 @mikes41720
Hey,
The settings are:
company_or_person = "company" company_or_person_user_id = 1Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/smy3m1
Thanks
That is certainly causing the mixed schema so let’s see if fixing the mixed schema fixes the original issue.
* Generate the export settings data.
* Copy and save this in a text file on your computer. (Just to be safe)
* Copy them into the import settings tab.
* Fix the mixed data (see note below)
* Import.
* Clear cache and test the schema again.Note: There may be other mixed schema so check these settings as well. Only the person or company options should be filled in. Remove any data in the non-selected option. In your case, remove any ‘person’ data and leave the company data alone. The = sign is required so just remove anything after the =. You can export and review the newly imported data to ensure everything imported correctly. That’s why I recommended saving the original export.
Person
person_name person_logo person_logo_id company_or_person_user_idCompany
alternate_website_name company_logo company_logo_id company_nameHey @amboutwe
As I am using company only so I have removed the code below:
person_name person_logo person_logo_id company_or_person_user_idand when I am removing the above code the code comes back after saving, and the issue is still there. Can you please check at your end.
@amboutwe @pcosta88 @mikes41720 @tentangsinopsis
My current setting after following the steps told by @amboutwe
Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/snete0
@webtify Can you please try the settings with all data after the = sign removed for:
person_name person_logo person_logo_id company_or_person_user_id?
after removing the content after the = sign the error is still there.
Thanks the issue has been resolved. 🙂
i see and follow up this post… thank for solution
