    I am getting the following, any ideas please.

    Error Message: Exceeded rate limit. Please wait 512 seconds.

    Error Code: rate_limit_exceeded

    Hello @johndt,

    Glad you reached out, and apologies for the delay in response here!

    Can you please check if the error persists if you wait for the indicated time? This error means too many attempts to scan the site in a row. It is usually intermittent and disappears if you wait for the cooldown time.

    If you’re on a shared hosting environment, the error is prone to occur often because the Solid Security Basic version has a 10-minute rate limit. Please see this similar thread here for some alternative tips: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/site-scans-failing-due-to-rate-limit/
