    If one simply wants to use your plugin for the ace editor, is there any restrictions? I see that when using the selector GUI some features are paid version only which I would assume also limits the code editor?

    Hey,

    Yellow Pencil is a javascript based editor and using Ace Editor as a dynamic database, the plugin doing all queries, controls and tests from the dynamic database. Use Ace Editor or GUI features not matter, the lite version will have restrictions for some CSS rules as the font-family property.

    You want just use a simple Ace editor? I will recommend you to use Custom CSS Pro plugin.
