Same slug for different language category

Hello everyone, I have a problem without solution, we are talking about the category slug, I have the category News in italian and newseng in English.

My real problem is not the category name but the slug in tialian and in english we use the word news, or i would like to use it, but for italian category I have already news and the link is http://www.xxx.it/news/ when I try to get the same result in english he rename the slug news-2 and the result is http://www.xxx.it/en/news-2/ but I would like to have http://www.xxx.it/en/news
