    Hi,

I have an issue on a website that offers RSVPs.

Here is the error message that appears in the console when I click on a RSVP button:

Uncaught TypeError: can’t access property “show”, tribe.tickets.loader is undefined

The error is found in the rsvp-manager.js file of the plugin.

WordPress and the Event Plugin are up to date.

    Best Regards,

    Yves

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.

Here is the page of a test RSVP: https://tinyurl.com/5b3dk9ca

But still, you will need to log in to RSVP…

    Hi @yvessaintlary

Could you please let us know if you’re currently using any caching plugin or server-side caching? If so, we recommend temporarily disabling it to see whether that resolves the issue.

If the behavior persists after doing so, it’s possible that a plugin or theme conflict may be involved. In that case, we suggest running a conflict test on a staging copy of your live site to avoid impacting your production environment. You can follow the steps outlined in this guide:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

Please let us know how it goes, and we’ll be happy to assist further based on your findings.

    Hi Darian,

I disabled all plugins but “Event Tickets” and “The event calendar”.

I still see the issue. Please find a link to open a screenshot of the errors showing up on the console: https://postimg.cc/VS6N9bzk

I am a premium user and have been getting the same javascript error in the console when using WP core 6.9.0, when I downgrade to WP 6.8.3, I do not see the javascript issue.

    Site Info:

    • php: 8.2
    • WordPress: 6.9.0 (does not work) 6.8.3 (does work)
    • The Events Calendar: 6.15.14

    • Event Tickets: 5.27.3
    • Event Tickets plus: 6.9.0
    • Theme: Custom Theme
    • I can provide a specific URL if that would be helpful

    Hi @derrickbarnettbrandco

Great to hear. Can you confirm that this RSVP function works with WP 6.8.3? Not only the error console disappearing?

    Thank you

    (@derrickbarnettbrandco)

Hi @yvessaintlary – I can confirm that the RSVP function works in 6.8.3

The console error is not present and the RSVP modal launches and I am able to submit the form.

    Hi,

I confirm that downgrading to 6.8.3 has restored the RSVP function.

@d0153 @tristan083 Can you please investigate this further?

    Best,

    Yves
