Responsive Gallery Limitations

    Hi,

    One of the listed features is “Mobile-Ready Responsive grids with touch-friendly browsing.”

    The problem at the moment is that the column numbers in all the galleries are being used on mobile devices. If I set a Masonry gallery to 6 columns, I only want it to display six columns on a large screen. I need the column number to decrease on smaller devices. A 6-column (or more) gallery on a mobile phone isn’t useful because the touch targets get tiny.

    I’m trying to migrate away from using Spectra, and in that gallery plugin’s masonry gallery, you can specify the number of columns for desktop, tablet, and mobile individually. In fact, quite a few of the gallery settings, such as row/column gap, can be device-specific, which is what I would hope for from any plugin that says it is mobile-ready and responsive. Will these features be added?

    Thanks. That’s a great start, although there is one very minor issue.

    Initially, I thought the new responsive controls were limited to the pro version, so, per WP Support rules, I submitted the issue via your contact form. Now I see responsive controls are not limited to Pro version.

    The issue is that while the new controls work perfectly for the front-end output, they do not match the back-end selection from the preview menu. If you select tablet or mobile in the drop-down preview menu to view a tablet or mobile window preview in the post/page editor, Galleryberg does not display the correct column numbers in those views. When I emailed, I included a screenshot link to make the issue clear.
