Replace Share image with video

I would like to have a video loop playing when someone shares a particular page in social media and iPhone messages instead of a still jpg image. I have been reading off and on for months now about OG video tags. I have the lower resolution video hosted on my site. I have learned it has to go in the head section of header.php but everything I try to code and copy into it doesn’t seem to work. I have tried many things. I know it is simple but just can’t find the correct code and location anywhere on the web. Can anyone help with a little more information? Thanks! J
