I installed Dokan free to try the features, but some of them dont match to what i need & i’ll probably have to get custom stuff now. I have uninstalled the plugin, but see that some user-roles created by Dokan is still there. Example “vendor”. How can i remove this & uninstall everything which Dokan installed on my site?

    Thanks for help.

  • Hello @vinee89,

Yes, you are correct. The role is still there while the plugin is not activated. Did you check by deactivating WooCommerce? You will see that it also store the user role of the plugin. So, it is not an issue of Dokan plugin.

I will definitely add this question to our developer team so that they can check it out 🙂

    guys?

    Hello @vinee89,

I am sorry for being late. I have discussed with our developer and they confirmed that saving user role is a default behavior of WordPress. WP does not allow to delete any role after deactivating the plugin automatically. Because if you have any user with the existing role then definitely you will keep them rather than deleting the user. So, you can change their role anytime.

If it is really urgent for you then you can try to delete the role manually- https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/remove_role.

    Thanks!

    Me too,

I have a back before I installed your plugin. A restore is always a sihn of failure

You should have better method of cleaning this up.

    Mark
