    Hi,

The site was working fine, people were able to register on the site with no problems, until I started playing with the plugin “LiteSpeed Cache” trying to optimize my site. Now when people try to register on my site the browser freezes and then problems start nothing gets registered. Now when someone is trying to register I get a message “”THIS PAGE ISN’T WORKING”, “mysite.ca didn’t send any data”, ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE.” I tried deactivating “LiteSpeed Cache” plugin that doesn’t seem to do anything. Not certain where to look or what to think about this one!

If anyone can help would very much appreciate.

    Hello mlight56,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand that your site was working fine until you optimized it with the LiteSpeed Cache plugin. Now, user registrations freeze the browser and return an ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE error, even after deactivating the LiteSpeed plugin.

Does the issue only occur during registration, or do other actions also cause the site to freeze?
Also, are you able to reproduce the issue yourself?

The problem may be related to leftover cache files on the server. Try reaching out to your web host and ask them to clear any server-side cache and check the wp-config.php file.

Let me know what they say.

    Best regards.

    Hi Zubair Zahid (woo-hc),

The problem occurs every time anyone is trying to register only, not when the subscriber is loggin in, that part seem to work fine!

    Hi  Zubair Zahid (woo-hc),

My server support team came back with this …

    “SiteSupport

    Hi Michel,

We have removed the define( ‘WP_CACHE’, true ); entry from the wp-config.php file and also flushed the cache on your website. Could you please check it now?”

I just tried to login and got a message …

“Safari Can’t Open The Page, Safari can’t open the page “https://mysite.ca/my-account” because the server dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again.”

We get the same message when we try again … !

    Hi Zubair Zahid (woo-hc),

So my server side support team got back to me asking where the problem was happening and this what I got from them …

“Yes, on the My account page when I try to register an email on our subscribers list!

    Hi,

As previously stated, we did not find any issues on our server end, and your site is working fine. In this case, you will need to get in touch with the WooCommerce support team and ask them for further assistance, as they will certainly be able to provide more details.”

    Thank you for your help!

    Hello mlight56,

    Thank you for your reply.

I appreciate you for getting in touch with the server support and sharing more information.

I noticed that you have the MailPoet integration on the My account page.
To narrow down the cause of the issue, could you deactivate MailPoet and then try registering again?

Additionally, please share your site’s System Status Report with me.
You can paste it into https://pastebin.com and share the link here.

Looking forward to your response. 🙂

    Hi Zubair Zahid (woo-hc),

Thank you for getting back to me…

I deactivate MailPoet tried to register an email and it worked so I assume the there must be a conflict with MailPoet and woocommence.

The only thing is that it seems like it didn’t let me know the we had a new subscriber that just registered!

I also pasted the system status into https://pastebin.com and shared the link under your name.

So for now until we find a solution to the conflict I will leave MailPoet disabled.

    Hello mlight56,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand that deactivating MailPoet allowed email registration to work.

Since MailPoet seems to be causing the conflict, I recommend posting this issue on the MailPoet support forum to check if it’s a known issue and how to solve it.

Please share the forum thread link here so I can check it for more updates.

    Best regards.
