    Hi,

I am using Fluent SMTP in a multisite setup with subfolders with Microsoft 365 smtp. The token is setup correctly as far as I can tell and most emails are send correctly, but about 1 in every 10 emails that are send through our contact form and about 1 in every 100 that are send as a newsletter are not send and get a code 423. This seems to happen in a random pattern. If I then manually resend them they are send without issues. Any ideas whats causing the issue?

    Hello @wouterdoorn,

The error message comes from outlook API calls. There might be an issue with the email limit or permission hence the emails are getting failed on multisite. You may contact Outlook regarding the error message.

    Thank you

Has this issue ever been resolved? I’m having about the same issue. Only with FluentSMTP and any other plugin works fine.

No. In the end I switched to SMTP2GO, a paid service which has been working great.

Thanks for your reply! I’ve been using paid services for a long time without any issues. A friend told me about FluentSMTP which seems to be a great plugin on first sight. Unfortunately about 3-5% of the e-mails are failing with this error, randomly. Manual resending works fine. Happy I’m not the only one 🙂 Fijne avond gewenst!
