I’m using the plugin to export my site and it works fine so far. Just wondering, is it possible to skip some files or folders during export? Trying to keep the backup a bit lighter. tnx!

Yes, absolutely! The plugin has built-in options for this.

When you click Export, expand the Advanced Settings section. You’ll see checkboxes to exclude entire categories:

    – Spam comments
    – Post revisions
    – Media library (uploads)
    – Themes
    – Must-use plugins
    – Plugins
    – Database

These are great for quick wins. Skipping spam comments and Post revisions is a must, imo.

If you need more granular control, All-in-One WP Migration Pro adds an “Exclude the selected files” option with an interactive file browser. It lets you navigate your wp-content directory
and pick specific files or folders to skip. For example, you could exclude just one heavy theme or a particular uploads subfolder instead of the whole category.

    Hope that helps!
