    Hi,

Since update 7.0.0 Protected Media Files no longer work as expected.
If I set access for a file in media library it will no longer be protected, everyone can open the file.
If I set the same restriction in AAM “Posts & Terms” tab it will be protected.

Tried also with a fresh install on another webserver that have not had this plugin(s) before.
Followed the installation instructions, there is no X-Served-By header with the AAM Protected Media Files value.
Rolling back Advanced Access Manager to before v. 7 everything will work as it should.

I finally discover that the permalink of a media file is protected, but not the actual URL-link.
In AAM before v. 7 both those links to a media file are protected.

@treetex got it. Looking into the root cause and if we can replicate it – we’ll release a new update to the add-on.
