  • Hi,

When I view that link I get a 403 error message which means that I cannot view / download the file without having more rights (an account … product purchased …)

Is this not the intention then?

    Thanks crslz

I have since deleted the upload and re-uploaded a new file – so that is why you get the 404 now. I’ll keep my eye on that and see what happens – hopefully the new file will not show up in search.

The only thing I can think of that may have caused this is in the advanced tab, I included the download link in the message to the purchaser. I thought this would have been private – but maybe that is how that URL was discovered. Do you think that sounds possible?

    I don’t get a 404 error but a 403 error message!

This means that the URL can be viewed, but the file (PDF) cannot be viewed or downloaded directly
