Product Sample Plugin

    I’m starting a store to sell printed fabrics. I’m offering 12 different kinds of fabric and just set their prices in a variable product. Now I’m having one problem: I want to give the customer an option to buy a sample of the chosen fabric for a small price. Do you know a plugin that can help with this? The idea is that it creates a radio button to choose buying the product itself or just the sample and after that shows a dropdown with the variations or instead the radio could be a dropdown too. I’m really needing this plugin and I can buy it if needed.

    Have you looked into WooCommerce? You can make variable products with options and different pricing per option. (like sizes) You can create a global option called “Sample”

    You mean the variable product? I already created the fabric variations and I can input one regular price and a promotional price and that’s it. I could created more variations and input something like “Silk – Sample” and its specific price, but I would have 24 items in an unique dropdown. In the future I can have even more fabric variations, so imagine how big the dropdown would become. In some monitors some options won’t be showed. I’m trying to find a solution to this and separate the samples from the product itself was the best one I thought.

    I just tried to use add-on products too, but they will only let me sell the product with an add-on. I can’t create the sample as an add-on and sell the add-on only. Pratically what I’m tryng to do is put two variable products in one. Woocommerce group product isn’t an option cause it only let me create a group with two simple product.
