I have recently been seeing my start and end tags included in my posts.
I think they are appearing in the posts because they have been modified to “: start” and “: end”.

I put the tags on myself, and I am certain I do it right.

The emails are sourced from gmail, if that’s any help.
    Thanks,
    Allan

Can you send a sample email to postie-test@devzing.com and I’ll take a look.

    Thanks for the sample.

What is happening is that the colon (:) is getting formatted differently than the “start” or “end” resulting in an email that looks like:

    <div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:small">:<div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:small;display:inline">start</div>

Even in the text version of the email the colon and start are on separate lines.

    :
    start

    Dear

You need to ensure that there aren’t any formatting changes in the :start and :end lines.
