Same for me.
The recommended plugin only changes the admin login but not the password protected screen.
It’s nice to know I’m not alone….I know previously that was the case, but now, on the plugin page itself, they say “New 👉 Now you can customize the whole password protected screen including the background, font, logo, color e.t.c.”
And when you install the plugin, there’s a message saying “Now you can customize your Password Protected screen with the Login Designer plugin🌈
👉Try it now! It’s Free.” that links to the Login Designer plugin
Clearly, the indication is that we should be able to customize the password protected screen, but we can’t. It would be good to hear from WPExperts on this issue because something isn’t working correctly.

Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
Let me test this case on my staging website, and then I will get back to you with updates.
Thanks
@care2michelle @aaayu
We are unable to reproduce the mentioned issue on our staging site. It seems like the theme or some other plugin is conflicting with the Our plugin Can you change the theme to WordPress default 2022 or deactivate the plugins one by one and check if the issue still persists or not?
It’s working fine you can see my test website here.
Also see the video here.
Thanks
I am already using the WordPress default 2022 theme. I will check the plugins one by one today. However, I do not have the “customize – password protected” menu showing up that you reference in the video. When I access the customize menu, my options are: Site Identity, Homepage Settings, Login Designer, and Additional CSS. Password Protected isn’t even showing up as an option to customize.
I deactivated all my plugins. Then I re-activated only Password Protected and Login Designer. When I go to the customize menu, I still only have the 4 options listed above: Site Identity, Homepage Settings, Login Designer, and Additional CSS. I do not have an option in the menu to customize Password Protected.
so it’s not a problem with conflicting plugins, because I simply don’t have the menu that you have in the video shown, even when the only plugins I have active are Password Protected and Login Designer. I’m already using the default theme.
See the video of my screen here.
@care2michelle
Let me share this with my QA team and test it again; will get back to you soon.
Thanks
Thanks for looking into it! Your plugin is the one recommended by out hosting provider to use, and the password protection is a key aspect of the project I’m working on, so I’m hopeful that we can find a solution.
@care2michelle yes, we are trying to reproduce this; let me know which PHP version you are using.
@care2michelle Thanks, I will check and test this again shortly.
I’ve also updated to the latest version of WordPress, but I’m still seeing the same options as in my video linked above. We’re hoping to launch out website by 12/16, so I’m hopeful we can figure out a solution before then.
@care2michelle
We are working on it and found this issue on multisites; we will fix it in our upcoming release in the next few days.
Thanks
Thank you so much! That’s fantastic news! I’ll look forward to the upcoming release.
