Problem with WordPress 4.9

    Hi

    I am using Flamingo, Contact Form Datepicker and the GeneratePress theme. It has been working for a few years. Today I updated to WordPress 4.9 and it stopped working. I suspect WordPress 4.9 to be the reason. Is anybody else seing this?

    Please let me know if there is anything I can do to give some debug data.

    I am also experiencing the same issue with latest version of contact 7 forms, 4.9.1 with WordPress 4.9. It just spins and never submits the form. I had to roll back to Contact forms 4.7 in order to fix the problem.

    Forms working here on 2 sites using different themes (Enfold + Motif)

    WordPress: 4.9 | Contact Form 7: 4.9.1

    Interesting. I wonder why it does not work for me.

    Is there a way to enable debug for the plugin? What is the easiest way to debug this?

    First step is to disable all other plugins and switch to a stock WordPress theme e.g. twenty-seventeen. That usually shows that there is a theme/plugin conflict.

    Never had an issue before 4.8 – 4.9.1 with my theme. Only way Contact form 7 works is on 4.7. Theme author is blaming Contact Form 7 and not able to get any support from them.

    The reason will no doubt be in the CF7 changelog. With 5 million+ active installs of CF7, other plugins and themes should be aiming to maintain compatibility. However, in your case it sounds like you’ll either need to change your theme or contact form plugin….

    I updated my webserver and rebooted it. After that it worked. Thank you all for your input!
