Hello, I’m having trouble migrating to the new version of the plugin.

The event Mother's Day generated an error: []. Update the event and try again, or check out our Troubleshooting tips.

    I tried:

    1. entered each event separately and re-saved them, and I still get this message every time I try (only the entry affected by the error changes randomly)
    2. changing these entries to drafts and the problem persisted.
    3. I even deleted all the events – then the migration hangs (nothing happens), if I create a test event, we return to the error described above.
    4. Disabling all other plugins doesn’t help.
    5. Uninstalling the plugin, cleaning the database tables didn’t’ help either – the message about the necessary migration still appears.

I have no idea how to solve this anymore.

    WordPress 6.2.2, PHP 8.0

    Hi @banny83

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue. Let me help you with this one.

Could you try the following and see if that helps:

    • Follow the tips provided here
    • Activate only our plugin and use a default theme like 2020 theme.
    • Create at least one event
    • Use a location timezone
    • Install and activate the Code Snippets plugin.
    • Add this snippet and run it once (be sure it does not stay activated).
    • Go to Events > Settings > Upgrades and go through the migration process again.

Let me know how it goes.

    I get this message:

Could not create snippet. Request failed with status code 500

    Hi @banny83

Could not create snippet. Request failed with status code 500

I’m unsure about this issue, but I found a related thread with the same issue with Code Snippets. Have you tried contacting your hosting provider to see if there are errors from the logs that might be related to this one or errors related to our plugins?

From your System Information, please check and share the following values. I want to check if there are missing tables from your database.

    • Custom Tables Migration Status
    • Custom Tables Health Check

Please do not share all your system information or any credentials, this is for us to follow the WordPress Forum Guidelines.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a Troubleshooting tab through which I could see System Information.
