The recent drop in your Google News visibility is most likely a coincidence rather than something caused by the latest Rank Math update. We recommend checking your Google Search Console for any coverage or indexing issues that may explain why your articles are not appearing in Google News. Our plugin converts the Russian characters to Unicode. Our plugin sticks with standard UTF-8 encoding, which browsers and search engines fully understand, so rest assured that this will not cause any issues with your site’s ranking. Google and other search engines will convert the Unicode characters to the Russian characters in the SERPs.
