    Hello,

I have a contact form that allows a user to contact a functional manager (treasurer, webmaster, secretary, president, etc.) with the following fields:

Enter your: Last name, First name

    Enter your email address:

Enter the manager’s email address: (Dropdown list with email addresses for each manager to choose from)

    Message area and “Send” button

I’m having trouble configuring the notification settings.

I would obviously like the notification to also go to the manager’s email address, but I don’t see it in the settings (list of available fields). The only options offered are the admin and the user’s email address.

    Do you have any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Hi @fabx77 ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You can have your form notifications sent directly to the manager selected in your dropdown field by using a smart tag with the field ID of the field.

In your form’s notification settings, enter the smart tag for your dropdown field in the “Send To Email Address” box like this: {field_id=”3″} (make sure to replace 3 with the actual field ID).

This will send the notification to the email address selected from the dropdown. For more details, you can read this article: https://wpforms.com/docs/setup-form-notification-wpforms

    Hope that helps!

Thank you again for your reply.
I did add the field manually, but since I didn’t see it in the list displayed next to each field, I didn’t know it could be added that way.
