    Hello,

I have a problem, the reports are displayed once and then when refreshing the page or opening it again you see the frame of the report but instead of the report the following error appears:
    This content is not available.
    Learn more about Power BI.

After deleting the browser cache, the report is displayed again.
The problem only exists in Chrome browser. In the explorer browser the report is displayed correctly. And in the edge browser sometimes good and sometimes wrong.

    Thanks,
    elad

  • Hi elad,
I am having the exact same problem. Have you been able to fix this at all?
    Thanks,
    Dean

    Hi Dean,

I still haven’t been able to solve the problem.

    regards,
    Elad

This is also happening to me. I was running version 1.1.1 and the error manifested, and even after upgrading, I still get the same error.

Could it be that PowerBI changed something in their integration API?

We are also seeing this problem on an intermittent basis. The plugin hasn’t changed so it must be something on Microsoft’s side that is exposing/causing this issue. If anyone has the ability to help us troubleshoot, we’d greatly appreciate it!

Seeing it on our end as well. It appears to work fine in Chrome with the developer tools open and “Disable Cache” checked. Unchecking the “Disable Cache” option replicates the issue.

We are currently unable to reproduce the issue here. We could see it this afternoon but not now. Any one still seeing it? If not, it looks like it was an issue on Microsoft’s side.

Yes, we’re currently still able to reproduce the issue. We’re seeing this when viewing a report.
The error code coming back from the developer tools (Chrome) in the headers for the modelsAndExploration, conceptualschema, and exploration call’s are:
    x-powerbi-error-info: GroupNotAccessible

Disabling the cache loads the report successfully. With the cache enabled it fails with the above code.

What caching are you using? After additional troubleshooting, we could reproduce the problem but it is intermittent. It appears that a bad token is being retrieved causing the dashboard to not load. If a caching plugin is used (e.g., WP Rocket), then this problem can persist for an extended period. It also appears that the browser cache might be playing a role.

    Hi @atlaspolicy
I am still having this issue. It works for a while after clearing the cache or hard refreshing, but always comes back. My caching is through my hosting provider Siteground, but I still have problems after deactivating their plugin.
    Thanks for looking into this.

The only caching I’m referring to is the Chrome browser cache. No other caching is in place.

FYI, it appears that we were able to get rid of the issue by removing the localeSettings object in includes/class-power-bi-shortcodes.php on line 169-172.

At least for about ~75% of the page loads, whereas with it in there, we were at 0%.

I logged an issue with MS and a couple hours later was on the phone with a couple MS guys. They took a bunch of debug info and to my shock a couple hours later they called back and said they pushed through a fix. Haven’t seen the issue again yet!

We’re closing this one out as it looks like it was a Microsoft issue.
