Hi,
Our plugin pulls price data exclusively from its own records, so it won’t retrieve prices from other plugins. The only exception is when there isn’t enough recorded price history, in which case it may display the product’s regular price as the lowest, if this option is enabled in the settings.
Regarding editing prices, yes, the PRO version allows modifications, but you’ll need the Expert plan to edit the recorded price, currency, and date.
We offer a free 7-day trial, so feel free to test it out and see if it meets your needs.
Best regards

The client asks me to show the prices of some products that were discounted in the last 1/2 months, that is, to show the lowest price, but when he adds a new product, he also wants to not show the lowest price at all, but only those that were previously discounted. So my question is, is it legal to do that or do they have to have the lowest price displayed on all products? And how is that even possible with this add-on?

I am interested in the following, if I activate the expert version, am I able to choose what amount will be the lowest price in the last 30 days and can I keep the product with the “lowest price in last 30 days” for more than 30 days, without thereby influencing the type of new product I add? Because when I add a new product that has never been on sale, I don’t want the lowest price to appear twice, but instead to stand without the lowest because it was not on discount.
Hi,
First off, I want to clarify that I can’t provide legal advice. If you’re unsure about compliance, I’d recommend consulting a legal expert or the relevant regulatory authorities.
From what I understand about EU law, the lowest price only needs to be shown when a product is on sale, and it should reflect the lowest price at which the product was sold in the 30 days before the sale started. A sale can last for a short time or several months, but in either case, the lowest price should always reference the pre-sale period.
New products don’t have to display a lowest price unless they’re put on sale. Since a newly added product doesn’t have prior pricing history, it logically can’t have a lowest price recorded before its first discount.
As for controlling price history in the plugin, the Expert plan allows you to edit recorded prices and dates or hide certain prices from appearing in the lowest price display or price history chart. This gives you flexibility in managing how prices are shown.
I’d suggest trying the free 7-day trial to see if these features work for your needs. Let me know if you have any other questions!
