There are two issues here. First, WooCommerce does not consider ‘Number of People and Pets’ to be a quantity. It only sees it as another option and won’t do any math with it. The second is that it appears you set a base price of zero when you used the Set regular prices function. Markup-by-Attribute is calculating correctly because $0 plus $25 is $25.
I’m not sure Markup-by-Attribute is the right plugin for you. You want something that will do a formula and multiply ‘Number of People and Pets’ by ‘Picture Style’ and then add ‘Background’ and ‘Format’. Plus, Markup-by-Attribute prices the product variations, which is useful for someone who maintains a hard inventory. I think you might want something that adjusts the price at point-of-sale.
Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
The quantity I am talking about is product self. If you don’t mind here is a link to an image – https://luminaexperts.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Capture.png
I got it to update the price.
I disabled and reactivated WooCommerce and Markup by Attribute for WooCommerce and added the product again and everything works now.
Sorry about the fuss.
Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying. Markup-by-Attribute only affects the variation prices, and doesn’t have any hooks into the shopping cart or checkout page. So, this was probably a problem with WooCommerce or the payment modules. I’m glad you got it working.
Here’s a tip for you, if you haven’t figured it out already. Since ‘Number of People and Pets’ does not have a markup associated with it, you do not have to use it to generate variations. For the example you showed me, this would result in only 100 variations, rather than 700. The easiest way to do this is to uncheck [ ] Used for variations on the Attribute tab, use Create variations from all attributes, and then re-check [X] Used for variations.
How is this related to the Markup-by-Attribute plugin?
Hi, I am not associated with Markup-by-Attribute.
I can confirm the search function works fine https://dogsandcatslove.com/?s=pets or https://dogsandcatslove.com/?s=why+does+my+dog+act+like+a+cat%3F
Mark is right though this is for his plugin or issues related to WooCommerce and his plugin and your website doesn’t seem to have either.
