Price display error

    I am getting a bug with prices displaying on Simple Products. I also have other products running as Variables, but it seems to be linked to the Sale Price field also… very confusing/irritating!

    The front end and dashboard shows a Price of £51,486 for my item, even when the correct price is entered in the price field. It “sometimes” disappears when I enter a zero “Sale Price” in the Quick Edit screen, but comes back as soon as I go to edit the product in any way.

    I have deactivated all plugins but Woo and Elementor to display products, still happens. No cache is running. Same thing happens if I create a new product from scratch. Product is also “Virtual” and “download” if that makes any difference.

    Hi there,

    Admittedly I don’t fully understand the issue here – is it a case that you’re expecting a different price? Is it that sale prices aren’t showing? Or something else altogether?

    Can you share a screenshot of the product setup area and then contrast that with what you’re seeing on the front-end?

    Yeah it’s pretty odd, and I’ve tried to check all settings to just make sure it’s not something “simple”. i.e. taxes, shipping zones, etc… Never had this one any other build, and have done dozens of ecom sites before.

    There is no “sale price” needed for these items, it just seems to fix the glitch when in Quick View if you add a random price and then update. Go back again and put correct vale back in “price” field, delete sale price, save.

    It’s like the other “Variable” products that are in the store are making this “Simple” one glitch or something, or the Virtual or Download option is throwing it out.

    All very odd, but need to find a fix as the client is chasing….

    Hi there,
    So I understand from your screenshots that the product is showing a price of GBP51,486 when the correct price is actually GBP9.99.
    This certainly very unusual!
    You also indicate that this happens when you create a new product as well.

    My first suggestion would be to do a full conflict test as follows, the aim being to test this with only WooCommerce active and a default theme.
    You will need to disable all the Elementor plugins as well as it may well be something to do with these plugins and the theme.

    Issues like this may be caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts here:

    The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to do the following:

    1. Temporarily switch your theme back to the Storefront or TwentyNinteen Theme and test for the issue
    2. If the issue persists, disable all plugins except for WooCommerce.
    3. Test to see if the issue has been resolved.
    4. If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

    I suggest that at each test you try creating a new product and set the price to 9.99.

    Hi Mouli,
    Thanks for the thorougher feedback and support.

    I carried out all your suggested bug checks and have narrowed it down to ACF and ACF pro plugins causing the conflict.

    I ended up working out that ACF used on the variable product were conflicting with the Simple products and so setup a rule to exclude the ACF’s from all but required products and it looks to have fixed it! Phew!
