    Hi everyone,

I run postie on my school website that I host. I have 100 teachers signed up to post via email but have been encountering issues with some teachers. They all have their email going to their own category page. For some there are no issues. For others the post comes up all messed up off to the left of the page. Others, the photos they are sending are not being posted. I’m not sure why this is happening. One of my teachers sometimes when she posts it goes to her page and other time it goes to a different category that it is not assigned to. my page is tmmslynn.com

FYI it is always helpful if you can provide an example.

I did find a page with this issue, and it appears that the text came from MS Office (either Outlook or pasted from MS Word). Office products add a lot of inline styles. Example:
    <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo1;">Vocabulary for talking about illnesses and accident</p>

Other than getting your teachers to change their behavior (unlikely I know) the only thing to do is to clean up the html. This can be done manually, or you can write an addon (http://postieplugin.com/extending/) or use an existing addon like http://postieplugin.com/downloads/clean-html-addon/

For these issues I’d need more detailed information. I’d suggest turning on “Enable Debug Logging” then sending the relevant parts of your webserver logs to help@postieplugin.com after the issue has happened again.

Thank you for the reply. I turned on debug mode enabled so I will get that. Another thing I noticed is that when people send pictures, the one that don’t get posted will be in my media folder but will not show up, or show upside down.

As to why some images are upside down, this has to do with the device the picture was taken on. This plugin seems to work for most people. https://wordpress.org/plugins/image-rotation-fixer/
