WordPress requires MySQL and will not officially run on PostGreSQL. There is an unofficial PostGreSQL hack, but it is not supported by these forums. You can find that unofficial hack here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wordpress-pg/ . We recommend that you direct all support requests to the developers of WordPress-PG, or use their support forums.

Great… I’ve got the one from the link there, but their “forums” are as good as dead. Also, I’ve e-mailed the creator (And got a reply!), but I’ve not been able to do anything that will actually give me a good working version of WordPress.
Any chance that you could use or install MySQL?
Here’s what my server has, and no, MySQL is certainly not an option (my host serves some very important websites, and all of those seem to use Postgre stuff. ).
PHP 4.2.3, Postgres 7.2.2, Apache 1.3.26
Enough info? Do you think it SHOULD be working?
