Post JSON error (plugin conflict)

I’ve discovered a conflict between WP External Links and a popular slider plugin called Smart Slider that results in a JSON error (Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.) on posts, but not pages. I tested this on several sites running both plugins and found it to be consistent. They both work independently, just aren’t playing well together.

I’d much rather run WP External Links than a slider plugin, but some folks think they need them. So I wanted to give you the head’s up that this is occurring. I will be working independently on a solution on my end.
