Can you explain, how you do it.
The plugin add alink to change the post type of the post, but it is not possible to delete. After archive is the post inside the additional admin area fpr Archive. On this area is it also possible to recovery the post to his post type, there was before archiving.

I have the same problem (WP 4.1, theme twenty-thirteen). I archieved a post, but I can’t recover it. I have no additional admin area in Archive. I only find categories- and keyword-section.

I’m sorry, if I hover on Archiv, there’s only ‘Kategorien’ and ‘Schlagworte’. If I click on Archiv open the ‘Kategorien’-page. Here is the screenshot:

Please can you deactivated all other plugins and then add each plugin again. I think a other plugin use the same slug and delete my default for the archive. The default archive have no categories and tags.

Unfortunately there’s no change. I deactivated all (and deinstalled those I don’t use) and reactivated archiv. There is no change of behaviour.

I have a second installation where I installed Archiv with no other plugins installed and find there the same bahaviour. I tested this with several themes. Could it be that Archiv requires another plugin?

No, the plugin don’t require other plugins, no dependencies.
It is possible to get a access to your install? It is interest for me, maybe with debug on true, that I can see errors, notices.
