Possible Bug: Coupon automatically applied always

    Hi,

    Coupon is applied automatically whether or not the ‘Apply coupon automatically’ is checked in coupon settings.

    Hence all customers are getting the coupon without restriction. This seems to apply to already registered customers and not anonymous ones.

    Please help.

    Auto-apply functionality works only for the coupons that have it enabled. It might be a case of old settings getting pre-loaded from cache. Can you please try clearing the site cache along with server side cache, if any, and see if that solves the issue?

    Thanks for your response. I have tried clearing cache but it did not make a difference. In fact, this coupon code was never set to autoapply but suddenly started getting auto applied.

    I am happy to share screen over a call if it can help isolate the issue. Please let me know.

    Please share screen recording that includes the back end configuration of the coupon too. Hope we will be able to test it in your site directly. Please share the site URL as well.

    Were you able to figure out the issue?

    To check whether it is a compatibility issue with other third-party plugins, you may deactivate all plugins except Smart Coupons and WooCommerce plugins and then activate the rest of the plugins one by one.

    Hello! I have the same problem, disabled all plugins except WooCommerce and Smart Coupons, and changed theme to Twenty Nineteen. Then enabled auto apply coupon and a critical error page is shown, only at front side, wp-admin works fine.
    Checked debug.log file and does not show any fatal error…
    Using WP 5.4.12, WooCommerce 3.4.8 and Smart Coupons 1.4.6
