I’ve tested the port using http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/

    Port 443 is open.

I’ve also made sure to install the appropriate Verisign Intermediate CA Certificates. Still no change.

    Hey pdxmission,

Your problem is in the error your receive when visiting the URL you posted.

You attempted to reach portlandrescuemission.org, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as http://www.portlandrescuemission.org

So change your site URL to http://www.portlandrescuemission.org/.

    Thanks,
    Mike

There were a few issues related to this problem, but you’re right. Was able to get the URL updated to include the “www”. Also needed the host to install both the VeriSign certificate AND the VeriSign Intermediate certificate on the root of the server.

Now everything seems to be working great.
